Samsung has officially started rolling out One UI 7 (Android 15)

Samsung has officially kicked off the One UI 7 rollout, based on Android 15, starting April 7. Staying true to its roadmap, the update has begun reaching select Galaxy devices, but its availability is still limited to specific countries. Here’s a complete breakdown of where the update is going live first, when others can expect it, and what devices are included in this phased launch.

Early Access Countries for One UI 7 Beta

As seen in previous years, Samsung is sticking with a phased approach for the One UI 7 beta rollout. Initially, the beta version was released in three key markets:

• Germany

• South Korea

• United States

These regions often lead the charge due to their large base of tech-enthusiasts and well-established infrastructure for testing new software.

Shortly after, the beta program was expected to expand to more countries such as:

• United Kingdom

• India

• Poland

• China

These countries have a history of participating in Samsung’s early beta testing programs, and they’re typically prioritized due to high demand and strong market presence.

Official One UI 7 Rollout Begins – April 7 Launch

On April 7, Samsung began officially rolling out the stable version of One UI 7 to the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. However, despite this global start date, only users in South Korea received the update on day one.

Countries Included in the First Wave of Stable Rollout

Samsung has outlined a list of countries scheduled to receive the One UI 7 update in waves starting April 7. If you’re in any of the countries below, the rollout may have already begun or will go live within days:

• Asia: Korea, India, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam

• Africa: Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, South Africa

• Europe: Austria, France, Italy, Kazakhstan, Spain, Romania, Switzerland, Turkey, UK, Germany, Poland, Russia, Ukraine

• Latin America: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, Venezuela

• Middle East: Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE

According to Samsung’s plan, other countries not listed above will begin receiving the update later in April, with some regions starting from April 10 and others from April 14.

Devices Getting the One UI 7 Update First

Currently, the update is live for the following models in Korea:

• Galaxy S24 / S24+ / S24 Ultra

• Galaxy Z Fold 6

• Galaxy Z Flip 6

• Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition

Samsung has confirmed that more devices will be added to the rollout list in the coming weeks, including:

• Galaxy S24 FE

• Galaxy S23 / S23+ / S23 Ultra

• Galaxy Z Fold 5

• Galaxy Z Flip 5

• Galaxy Tab S10 series

• Galaxy Tab S9 series

Why the Phased Rollout Strategy?

This staggered release approach allows Samsung to closely monitor performance, bug reports, and feedback from each market before pushing the update globally. It ensures a more stable experience for users and reduces the likelihood of widespread issues.
