Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 Pro: Leaks Reveal Full Specs, Pricing, and Renders Ahead of Launch

Samsung is preparing to unveil its next rugged smartphone — the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro — and ahead of its official debut, a set of new leaks has provided a detailed look at the device’s specifications, pricing, and design. Known for building enterprise-ready smartphones that can take a beating, Samsung seems to be pushing the XCover line further with this Pro version.

Durable Design with an Updated Look

The leaked renders showcase a familiar but slightly modernized rugged aesthetic. The XCover 7 Pro maintains thick bezels, a textured back for grip, and reinforced corners. It’s purpose-built to endure tough conditions, with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, and MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability that ensures protection from drops, extreme temperatures, and harsh environments.

Display: Bigger and Smoother

The XCover 7 Pro will feature a 6.6-inch PLS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels, now confirmed to offer a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and navigation. This makes it more fluid than previous models while still being built tough. The screen is expected to come with Gorilla Glass Victus+, providing top-tier scratch and drop protection.

Performance: Snapdragon Takes Over

Under the hood, Samsung is making a notable upgrade. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, bringing more performance efficiency and better 5G support compared to earlier models. This is a shift from the standard XCover 7, which is rumored to use a MediaTek chip.

Backing it up is 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, with the option to expand via a microSD card up to 2TB. That’s excellent for professionals who need extra space for work files or media.

Camera Setup: Familiar but Functional

On the back, the XCover 7 Pro is equipped with a 50MP main sensor paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera, a setup nearly identical to the XCover 6 Pro. For selfies and video calls, it houses a 13MP front-facing camera. The focus here isn’t photography excellence, but reliable imaging for scanning, documentation, and fieldwork.

Battery, Charging, and Other Features

Powering the device is a 4,350mAh removable battery, with support for 15W wired charging. This marks a slight downgrade from the rumored 4,500mAh in earlier leaks, but the removable battery remains a key feature for field workers who need to swap batteries on the go.

Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded into the power button, dual-SIM support, and a USB-C port. The device is expected to run Android 15 with One UI 7 out of the box, offering the latest security and enterprise features including Samsung Knox, programmable buttons, and Push-to-Talk (PTT) capabilities.

Pricing and Availability

In terms of pricing, the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro is expected to launch at €599 in the Eurozone, aligning with the launch price of its predecessor. It’s rumored to be available in just one color — black, and only in a single configuration: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage.

Multiple sources suggest that the official launch will take place later this month, and availability should follow shortly after.
