Infinix GT 30 Pro launched in India with MediaTek Dimensity 8350 and a 5,500mAh battery

Infinix has launched the GT 30 Pro in India — a gaming smartphone that offers many features usually found in expensive phones but at a much lower price. It has a cool design with customizable RGB LED lights and special shoulder triggers like a game controller. It also comes with a strong processor and a smooth display to make gaming and everyday use great.

Design, Display, and Performance

The phone looks futuristic with its Cyber Mecha design and glowing RGB lights on the back. You can choose between two colors: Dark Flare, which has 10 different LED lighting modes, and Blade White, which has simple white LEDs. The phone also has an IP64 rating that protects it against splashes, stereo speakers, an infrared blaster, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Its screen is a large 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 1.5K resolution and a very smooth 144Hz refresh rate. It also has a high touch sampling rate (up to 2160Hz) and can get very bright (up to 4500 nits), which is perfect for gaming, watching videos, or browsing.

Inside, the phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate processor, which is powerful enough for gaming and daily tasks. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and fast 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. For gamers, the phone supports 120fps gaming in BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India), making gameplay smoother. It also has a cooling system called the 3D Vapor Cloud Chamber to keep the phone from getting too hot during long gaming sessions.

Gaming Features and Cameras

One of the best parts of the GT 30 Pro is the pair of ultrasonic shoulder triggers on the sides. These act like buttons on a game controller and can be customized for shooting games or other apps, making gaming easier and more fun.

For photography, the phone has a 108MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) for sharp pictures and an 8MP ultra-wide camera for wider shots. The front has a 13MP selfie camera. These cameras are good enough for casual photos and videos, even though the phone focuses on gaming.

Battery, Charging, and Software

The GT 30 Pro has a large 5,500mAh battery that lasts through long gaming or work sessions. It supports 45W wired fast charging, 30W wireless charging, and even reverse charging (to charge other devices). It also features bypass charging, so you can use the phone while charging without hurting the battery.

It runs XOS 15 based on Android 15, with useful gaming tools like performance dashboards and customizable profiles. Infinix promises two years of Android updates and three years of security patches, so the phone will stay up to date and secure for a while.

Accessories and Pricing

Infinix also offers extra gaming gear called the GT Verse. This includes low-latency gaming earbuds (GT Buds 2 and Buds 4), a cooling fan called MagCharge Cooler, and a customizable MagCase with RGB lights to match the phone.

The phone comes in two versions in India:

• 8GB RAM + 256GB storage for ₹24,999 (about $290)

• 12GB RAM + 256GB storage for ₹26,999 (about $315)

Sales started on June 12, 2025, through Flipkart and physical stores. On launch day, buyers can get ₹2,000 off using ICICI Bank cards and another ₹2,000 off by exchanging an old phone. The GT Gaming Kit (MagCase + MagCharge Cooler) is sold separately for ₹1,199 ($14).
