Realme C73 5G officially launched in India for just ₹10,499 ($123)

Realme has released a new affordable 5G smartphone in India called the Realme C73 5G. It’s designed for people who want great performance and battery life without spending too much. Despite the low price, it comes packed with features like a high refresh rate screen, a powerful MediaTek chip, and a massive battery.

The phone is built to last, with an IP64 rating for dust and splash protection, plus military-grade durability (MIL-STD-810H certified). It’s also slim and lightweight, measuring 7.94mm thick and weighing 197 grams.

It has a 6.67-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 625 nits brightness. That means you get smooth scrolling and clear visuals even under bright sunlight.

Under the hood, it’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, paired with 4GB RAM and either 64GB or 128GB storage. You can also expand memory using a microSD card and use up to 12GB virtual RAM for better multitasking. Storage type is eMMC 5.1.

Battery life is a major highlight. The phone packs a 6,000mAh battery, which easily lasts more than a day. It supports 15W wired charging and even offers 5W reverse charging, so you can use it to charge other devices in emergencies.

Camera-wise, there’s a 32MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera. These should handle everyday photography and video calls well.

The phone runs the latest Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0 on top. It includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 5, a USB-C port, and a single speaker.

The Realme C73 5G is available in three colors: Jade Green, Onyx Black, and Crystal Purple. It comes in two versions:

• 4GB RAM + 64GB storage – ₹10,499

• 4GB RAM + 128GB storage – ₹11,499

You can buy it from Realme.com, Flipkart, or offline stores.

This phone is positioned below the Realme C75 5G, which launched earlier with similar features but higher specs and price. The C73 keeps key highlights like the 5G chip and big battery but drops to a slower 15W charger and has fewer RAM options to keep the price down.

In short, the Realme C73 5G is a great choice for people who want reliable 5G, a large battery, and a smooth screen—without breaking the bank.
