iOS 17 introduces refined gestures, a streamlined control centre, and various other navigation enhancements. Go Straight Home

Swipe up from the bottom edge to go to the Home Screen.

Switch Between apps

To get back to an app you’ve recently used, swipe up and pause, then tap an app to open it.

Open Control Center

To quickly change your screen brightness, control audio and more, swipe down

from the top right.

In Control Centre, you can touch and hold most controls to do more. For example,

touch and hold the torch button to adjust the brightness of the torch. To see a list of

notifications that you may have missed, swipe down from the top of the screen.

Silence Calls and Notifications

To turn on silent mode, flip the Ring/Silent switch towards the back of your iPhone.

Any Clock alarms you set will still play sound.
