Huawei Nova 12 Has been Announced

Huawei unveiled the Nova 12 Ultra and Nova 12 Pro, both of which have hardware variable aperture cameras and satellite connectivity. In addition, the Chinese company debuted the more affordable Nova 12 and Nova 12 Lite.

The Huawei Nova 12 features a 6.7″ 120Hz OLED display with 2,412×1,084 pixel resolution, a fingerprint sensor for biometric verification, and a centered punch-hole for the 60MP ultrawide front camera (100 FOV). It also features 1B color support and a P3 broad color gamut.

It has an elliptical camera island with an LED flash, a laser focus sensor, a 50MP primary camera (with RYYB color filter array), and an 8MP ultrawide camera (112 FOV) around the rear.

The Huawei Nova 12 comes with HarmonyOS 4 and two storage options: 256GB and 512GB. Huawei hasn’t revealed the processor in the nova 12 on its website, although it’s believed to be the Kirin 830

Other advantages of the Huawei Nova 12 include a 4,600 mAh battery with 100W charging, USB-C, and NFC. It also boasts “bionic breathing liquid-cooling pulsating heat conduction” capabilities (machine translated from Chinese), which is said to increase heat dissipation by 60 times.

The Huawei Nova 12 Lite features a thinner profile (6.88mm vs. 6.98mm), a lighter weight (168 g vs. 191 g), a smaller battery (4,500 mAh vs. 4,600 mAh), and slower charging (66W vs. 100W) than the Huawei Nova 12.
