Asus Zenfone 10 has Received An Android 14 Upgrade

Asus has begun handing out the stable upgrade to Android 14 for the Zenfone 10. This is now being applied to global models, including those marketed in the EU. Your Zenfone 10 must be running software version 33.0220.0220.101 in order to receive the update.

After you download and install the 1.3GB update, you will be on software version 34.1004.0204.65. As is customary, the update is being rolled out in phases depending on the phones’ serial numbers, so it may take a few days for it to reach all Zenfone 10 handsets in the wild.

If you haven’t received the update notification yet, you may check for it manually by navigating to Settings > System > System updates. Asus highly recommends that you back up your data before proceeding, as “some third-party apps are not yet compatible with Android 14.”

The changelog mentions Bluetooth connectivity optimizations (headset disconnections and noise problems have been fixed), fixes for speakerphone call echo issues, a new method of displaying battery usage “to view app usage in segments”, support for the new “Photos and Videos” permission and the new system photo picker, and revamped Mobile Manager, Contacts, Phone, Emergency Dialer, File Manager, Calculator, Clock, Gallery, Weather, Sound recorder, Settings, Phone Clone, Local Backup, and Launcher.
