Huawei Nova 14 Ultra officially launched alongside the Nova 14 and Nova 14 Pro.
Huawei has launched the Nova 14 Ultra alongside the Nova 14 and Nova 14 Pro, and it’s the most advanced model in the series. It’s also the first bar-style smartphone to come with HarmonyOS 5 pre-installed. The phone brings a powerful mix of sleek design, top-tier cameras, super-fast charging, and even satellite messaging.
Let’s break down what makes the Nova 14 Ultra stand out.
The phone has a 6.81-inch curved OLED screen with a super smooth 1-120Hz refresh rate. It’s ultra-bright at 5,500 nits, so you won’t struggle to see it in sunlight. The display also uses LTPO 3.0 technology, which helps save battery life, and it’s protected by tough Kunlun Glass 3.
Design-wise, the phone looks and feels premium. It’s slim (7.78mm), weighs around 204g, and comes in stylish color options like Floating Gold, White, Purple, and Black.
Huawei didn’t officially confirm the chipset, but it’s believed to use a Kirin-series processor, likely from the 9000S family, and comes with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. This ensures smooth performance for gaming, multitasking, and photography.
The Nova 14 Ultra runs HarmonyOS 5, which brings AI-powered features, faster performance, and smarter tools like Magic Eraser and AI Magic Cutout for editing photos. The voice assistant Celia is also smarter and more natural in handling voice commands and gestures.
The camera setup is one of the best in its class. On the back, it features:
• 50MP main camera with variable aperture (great for all lighting conditions)
• 50MP periscope zoom camera with 3.7x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom
• 13MP ultra-wide macro camera
• A small 1.5MP color sensor for better color accuracy
All the main lenses use Huawei’s RYYB sensor, which improves low-light performance. On the front, there’s a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera and an 8MP zoom portrait lens with up to 5x digital zoom.

Both front and back cameras support 4K video, night mode, portrait beautification, macro video, and more.
The phone packs a 5,500mAh battery and supports blazing-fast 100W SuperCharge. It comes with Huawei’s new Ice Crystal charger, which can get you from 0 to 60% in just 10 minutes.
For connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC for payments. It also offers dual-mode satellite messaging (text and images), which is handy in remote areas. There’s also stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and smart sensors for improved display and photo quality.
