TECNO MEGABOOK S16 Launched at COMPUTEX 2025 with Intel i9, AI Tools, and 16-Inch Display

At COMPUTEX 2025 in Taipei, TECNO made a strong entry into the high-performance laptop space by unveiling the MEGABOOK S16 — a 16-inch flagship packed with AI features, premium hardware, and cross-device support. The launch, held under the theme “Mega Leap with AI,” showed TECNO’s serious push into smart, AI-integrated laptops.

The MEGABOOK S16 is TECNO’s first 16-inch laptop and features a slim, all-metal body just 14.9mm thick, weighing only 1.3kg. Despite being lightweight and portable, it feels premium and sturdy. The large Full HD display comes with a 16:10 aspect ratio, slim bezels, and 100% sRGB color accuracy, giving users an immersive and color-true visual experience that’s perfect for design, editing, and everyday use.

Powering the device is Intel’s 13th Gen Core i9-13900HK processor with 14 cores, 20 threads, and speeds up to 5.4GHz. It also features Intel Arc integrated graphics and a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for faster AI processing and improved multitasking. The S16 supports up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 2TB of SSD storage, ensuring smooth performance even with heavy workloads like video editing, gaming, and AI-assisted tasks.

One of the biggest highlights is the built-in AI, powered by TECNO’s latest DeepSeek-V3 model. This allows the MEGABOOK S16 to run several AI tools offline — no internet required. These tools include:

• Personal GPT for AI-assisted search and commands

• Ella AI for scheduling and reminders

• AI Meeting Assistant to transcribe and summarize conversations

• AI PPT to create slide presentations automatically

• AI Gallery for wireless photo backup and organization

• AI Drawing to help with creative sketches and visuals

These features are made possible by TECNO’s self-developed edge-side AI system, which offers fast, low-latency performance even when disconnected from the internet.

The MEGABOOK S16 also connects easily with other TECNO devices like smartphones and tablets via OneLeap. This feature enables screen sharing, file transfer, and real-time collaboration across devices. You can start a task on your laptop and pick it up on your phone — or vice versa — making it a great tool for seamless productivity.

Alongside the S16, TECNO introduced other laptops to cover a wide range of user needs:

– MEGABOOK S14, the world’s lightest 14-inch OLED laptop at just 898 grams, with a 2.8K screen and external GPU support.

– MEGABOOK T14 Air, a slim and lightweight device focused on long battery life.

– MEGABOOK K15S and K14S, entry-level laptops with basic performance and AI tools for casual users.

These launches mark TECNO’s serious expansion into the AI PC market, aiming to bring smart computing to both high-end and budget-friendly users.

Price and release details for the MEGABOOK S16 are still under wraps, but TECNO is expected to reveal more soon.
