Samsung Unveils Galaxy A15, A15 5G, and Galaxy A25 5G

With the new Galaxy A15 pair and Galaxy A25 5G, Samsung chose not to wait until 2024 to introduce its next crop of Galaxy A-devices. The Galaxy A15 is available in 4G and 5G variants, with both phones sharing the same core specifications except for the chipsets. The Galaxy A25 has improved cameras with Samsung’s own Exynos 1280 processor.

The 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panels with FHD+ resolution and Infinity-U notch cuts are shared by all three new phones. The A15 models have a refresh rate of 90 Hz, while the A25 has a 120 Hz display with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, compared to 800 nits on the A15s.

Samsung has included a 13MP front-facing camera on all three of its new Galaxy A phones, as well as its new Key Island design, which includes a convex contour surrounding the power and volume buttons.The Galaxy A15 is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 128/256GB of additional storage via the microSD card slot. The A15 5G has a Dimension 6100+ processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of extendable storage. The Exynos 1280 CPU, 6/8GB RAM, and 128GB expandable storage are included in the A25 5G.

The A15 versions include a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera on the back. The A25 has a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. All three new phones run One UI 6.0 on Android 14 and have 5,000 mAh batteries with support for 25W charging.

Yellow, fantasy blue, optimistic blue, and black are the available colors. Open sales begin on December 16 in Vietnam, and we can expect Samsung to offer all three devices in additional markets in the coming weeks.
