Oppo Reno 14 Images Leak, Revealing Colour Options and Design Ahead of Expected May Launch
After launching the Oppo Reno 13 series in November 2024, Oppo is all set to unveil its next-generation Reno 14 series in May 2025. With just a few weeks to go, the excitement is building as the first images of the Reno 14 have recently surfaced on Weibo, offering a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming device.
The leaked images, shared by renowned tipster DCS, reveal a significant design overhaul for the Oppo Reno 14. The phone features a unique “cannon-style” camera layout, created using cold-carving techniques for a refined finish. This new design approach gives the Reno 14 a strikingly premium appearance, with an aluminium alloy side frame and a large R-angle design that closely resembles the look and feel of an iPhone.

The finish of the Reno 14 is said to be so well-crafted that distinguishing it from an iPhone at a glance would be difficult. While the front of the device remains under wraps for now, reports suggest that the Reno 14 will be equipped with a flat display, continuing the trend of sleek and modern design.
Impressive Display and Camera Setup
In terms of display, the Reno 14 will sport a 6.59-inch OLED LTPS panel with a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring vibrant visuals and fluid performance. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the triple-camera setup on the rear, featuring a 50-megapixel main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and another 50-megapixel telephoto camera powered by the Samsung JN5 sensor. For selfies, the Reno 14 will include a 50-megapixel front camera, enabling sharp and clear shots.
Powerful Performance and Long-lasting Battery
Under the hood, the Oppo Reno 14 will be powered by the Dimensity 8350 chipset, offering excellent performance for both everyday tasks and more demanding applications. The device will also feature a massive 6,000mAh battery, which supports 80W fast charging, ensuring that users can quickly power up their phone and stay connected throughout the day.
In addition, the Reno 14 will come equipped with a variety of features, including an in-screen fingerprint scanner for added security, an IR blaster for controlling other devices, and ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, providing a smooth and customizable user experience.
Anticipated Launch and Availability
Oppo is expected to officially unveil the Reno 14 series in May 2025, with the phone initially launching in China. Given the popularity of the Reno series, a global launch is likely to follow shortly thereafter. With its impressive design, high-end specifications, and a range of new features, the Oppo Reno 14 is shaping up to be an exciting addition to the smartphone market.
