OnePlus has officially confirmed the OnePlus 13s
OnePlus is preparing to shake up the smartphone market once again with the upcoming launch of its compact flagship, the OnePlus 13s. Building on its tradition of combining powerful hardware with sleek designs, OnePlus officially confirmed the 13s’ existence, unveiling key details like its design, display size, processor, and some impressive hardware specifications. Here’s everything you need to know about this highly anticipated device.

Official Design and Color Options
The landing page for the OnePlus 13s is now live on both Amazon India and the OnePlus India website, confirming the phone’s availability in two color variants: black and pink. The design sticks to a minimalist, premium aesthetic, with the volume rocker and power button positioned on the right side, while a new hardware key is placed on the left spine — replacing the traditional Alert Slider, offering customizable functionality.
At the bottom edge, the phone houses a SIM card tray, USB-C port, microphone, and speaker grille, ensuring that the external layout is both functional and stylish. This aligns with OnePlus’ goal to offer a device that’s compact yet packed with flagship features.
The OnePlus 13s will sport a 6.32-inch AMOLED display, which strikes a perfect balance between portability and immersive visuals. In China, the device launched under the name OnePlus 13T and came equipped with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint scanner — features that are expected to remain intact for the global 13s variant. The screen technology ensures vibrant colors, deep blacks, and smooth animations, delivering a top-notch visual experience for users who prefer a smaller form factor without sacrificing quality.
At its core, the OnePlus 13s is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, Qualcomm’s most powerful SoC designed for 2025 flagship devices. This new processor promises incredible performance across gaming, multitasking, and AI tasks, making the 13s a true compact powerhouse.
While it is still unclear whether the 13s will be a direct replica of the OnePlus 13T launched in China, early signs suggest they will share most of the core specifications.
One of the standout features of the OnePlus 13s is its 6,260mAh battery — an extraordinary capacity for a phone with a relatively compact size. The device also supports 80W fast charging, ensuring minimal downtime even after heavy use. Thanks to silicon-carbon battery technology, users can expect longer life cycles and better energy efficiency compared to traditional lithium-ion batteries.
This battery setup, combined with OnePlus’ charging optimizations, positions the 13s as one of the most durable compact phones for power users.
For photography enthusiasts, the OnePlus 13s offers a compelling camera setup. On the front, it carries a 16-megapixel selfie shooter, ideal for high-quality selfies and video calls. Around the back, the device sports a dual-camera system comprising:
• A 50MP primary sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization).
• A 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom.
This setup promises versatile photography capabilities, allowing users to capture detailed portraits, landscapes, and zoom shots without a loss in quality.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 13s will be available in high-performance configurations, offering up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Such specs are more commonly seen in gaming-focused flagships, making the 13s a standout choice for power users and tech enthusiasts who demand top-tier performance from their smartphones.
The OnePlus 13T, its China-only twin, was priced at around 3,399 Yuan (~$465) for the 12GB + 256GB version, giving users an idea of what the 13s’ pricing might look like globally.
On the software front, the OnePlus 13s will run ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 — at least in its Chinese variant — with the global version possibly offering OxygenOS 15 instead. Regardless, users can expect a refined, smooth experience with plenty of customization options and optimizations for performance and battery life.
Structurally, the 13s boasts a metal frame and an IP65-rated build, making it resistant to dust and water splashes. Dual stereo speakers further enhance the multimedia experience, ensuring rich sound whether you’re gaming, streaming, or on video calls.
Following its unveiling in China as the OnePlus 13T, OnePlus India has officially confirmed plans to launch the device locally under the new name OnePlus 13s. However, the brand has yet to announce the exact launch date.
While the pink and black colorways are confirmed, it remains uncertain whether the gray color option — which was also introduced in China — will make it to the global market.
With its rare combination of a compact form factor, elite-level processing power, massive battery capacity, and premium design, the OnePlus 13s is shaping up to be one of the most exciting small flagships of 2025. It aims to satisfy users who long for a smaller phone but are unwilling to compromise on flagship specifications.
