Honor Magic Vs3 Debuts in China

Honor has introduced its latest foldable smartphone, the Magic Vs3, alongside the world’s thinnest foldable, the Magic V3. The Magic Vs3, although slightly thicker, remains impressively slim with a thickness of 9.8mm when folded and 4.65mm when unfolded. This makes it the second thinnest foldable phone currently available, trailing only the Magic V3.

Design and Display

The Honor Magic Vs3 features a curved AMOLED display with a 6.43-inch front screen boasting a resolution of 2376 x 1060 pixels and a peak brightness of 2500 nits. Internally, it houses a 7.8-inch screen with a resolution of 2344 x 2156 pixels and a peak brightness of 1600 nits. Both displays support a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate and HDR Vivid, providing vibrant and smooth visuals. The phone’s slim profile measures 9.7mm when folded and 4.65mm when opened, weighing just 229 grams. It also includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button.

Camera

The Magic Vs3 is equipped with a triple rear camera system, featuring a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 40MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8MP periscope camera offering 5x optical and 50x digital zoom. Both the main and periscope lenses support optical image stabilization. For selfies, it has 16MP and 8MP sensors on the external and internal displays, respectively.

Under the hood, the Magic Vs3 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It runs on MagicOS 8.0, based on Android 14, which includes features like split-screen functionality. The device is backed by a 5000mAh battery, supporting 66W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The Honor Magic Vs3 is available in three colors: Qilian Snow, Tundra Green, and Velvet Black. It comes in three RAM/storage configurations:
