Realme is all set to launch the Neo 7 Turbo in China on May 29, and the company isn’t holding back on revealing key features. From powerful performance to eye-catching design, the Neo 7 Turbo is shaping up to be a mid-range monster.

One of the standout features is its massive 7,200mAh battery — one of the biggest we’ve seen on a Realme phone. While a battery that large usually takes time to charge, Realme solves that with 100W fast charging. Even better, it includes bypass charging, letting the phone run directly on power from the charger instead of the battery when plugged in — ideal for long gaming or video sessions. Keeping everything cool under pressure is a 7,700mm² vapor chamber cooling system that helps prevent overheating during intense use.

The performance side is just as impressive. The Neo 7 Turbo will be the first phone powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset — built on a 4nm process and featuring a combination of four Cortex-X4 and four Cortex-A720 cores. This chip promises flagship-level speed and efficiency. To make the most of this power, Realme adds its GT Performance Engine 2.0, which is designed to keep games running smoothly and reduce frame drops during demanding tasks.

Up front, the phone sports a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution, bringing vibrant colors and crisp details. The bezels are extremely slim at just 1.3mm, giving the screen a clean, symmetrical look. It also supports 4608Hz PWM dimming, which reduces eye strain during long viewing sessions — something users will appreciate if they’re on their phones for hours.

Realme is also getting bold with the design. The transparent gray variant of the Neo 7 Turbo has a back panel that mimics the phone’s internal layout, giving it a futuristic, techy look. Underneath the hood, it offers LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, delivering fast app loading and smooth multitasking. The storage options start at 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and go all the way up to 16GB RAM with 1TB, putting it in flagship territory.

On the camera side, the Neo 7 Turbo features a triple-lens setup with a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera. This setup promises versatile shooting options and sharper images even in tricky lighting or motion-heavy situations.

Software-wise, the phone will launch with Android 15 out of the box, layered with Realme UI 6, offering updated features and smoother performance. Other expected features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, NFC, stereo speakers, and more.

Realme hasn’t confirmed if the Neo 7 Turbo will release globally, but many expect it to be rebranded as the Realme GT 7 outside of China. With a price expected to be around ¥2,500, it’s going head-to-head with rivals like the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro and iQOO Neo series.

In short, Realme is going all-in with the Neo 7 Turbo — big battery, fast charging, top-tier performance, and a design that turns heads. If it reaches global markets, this could be one of the most exciting and well-balanced phones in its price range this year.
