iQOO Neo9S Pro+ Launched

iQOO has unveiled several new devices in China today, including the latest addition to its smartphone lineup: the iQOO Neo9S Pro+. This device marks the fourth model in the Neo 9 series, following the standard, Pro, and 9s Pro variants. Positioned as the top-tier model, the Neo9S Pro+ stands out with its flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, though it retains the design and many specifications of its predecessors.

Design and Build

The design of the iQOO Neo9S Pro+ is consistent with other Neo 9 series models, featuring a flat frame and dual camera rings on the back. It is available in Buff Blue, Star White, and Fighting Black. The Buff Blue variant uses a white leather surface with a unique TOL rubbing process for a pixel-style pattern and silky touch, complemented by a blue lychee-grain leather area.

Specifications and Features

The iQOO Neo9S Pro+ sports a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 1,400 nits peak brightness, and a 144Hz LTPO refresh rate. This screen also features a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

In terms of camera capabilities, the device boasts a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP Sony IMX921 main sensor with OIS and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies, there’s a 16MP front-facing camera. The rear camera can shoot up to 8K videos and 1080p slow-motion footage.

Under the hood, the iQOO Neo9S Pro+ is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and includes the iQOO Q1 chipset for enhanced gaming performance. It offers up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, with a 6K VC cooling system to manage heat dissipation. The device is equipped with a 5,500mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging. It runs on OriginOS 4 based on Android 14, featuring AI enhancements like a meeting record assistant, copywriting, and screen recognition.
