Apple Drops watchOS 10.2: Siri Boosted, Swipe Watch Face Option Added And More

Apple has published watchOS 10.2, the most recent update to the watchOS 10 operating system, which was released in September. watchOS 10.2 arrives more than a month after watchOS 10.1, a substantial upgrade that included Double Tap support, NameDrop, and other features.
The Apple Watch app on an iPhone running iOS 17 or later may be used to download watchOS 10.2 for free by launching it and navigating to General > Software Update. To install the updated software, the Apple Watch must be at least 50% charged and connected to a charger.
On the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2, the watchOS 10.2 update adds functionality for using Siri to retrieve and record data in the Health app.

Users can query Siri with inquiries such as “How did I sleep last night?” or “How many steps have I taken this week?”
Siri can also be used to enter health data to the Health app, such as “My weight is 195.3 pounds,” or “I’ve taken my 6:00 p.m. medications.” This is a feature that Apple revealed with the release of the latest Apple Watch models, and it is only available on these devices because they are the only Apple Watches that allow on-device Siri processing.WatchOS 10.2 also reintroduces the ability to swipe to change the Apple Watch face, which was lost in watchOS 10 and was greatly missed by some.
