Creating your U.S. iTunes account:

 

1. Make sure you’re logged out of your current iTunes account. Enter the U.S. iTunes Store by scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking on the flag.

Once you’re in this page, click on United States to enter the U.S. iTunes Store.

Locate the App Store, and find any app listed as Free.

Once you’re in the app’s page, click on the word Free under the image.

You’ll be prompted to log in to the iTunes Store.

Click Create Apple ID.

Click “I have read and agree to these terms and conditions.” Click Agree.

Fill out all account information.

 

Be sure to use an email address that is not currently registered with iTunes!

For payment type choose None.

Enter your first and last name.

For AddressCity, and Phone number, we recommend using an actual city, state, and area code for the phone number. Here’s a few examples:

For Street, you can use random digits with a street name:

23444 Main, 2388 Main, 99298 Main, 33855 Main.

* Other common street names: “Hamilton” “Pearl” “Jones” “Jackson” “Washington”

For City and State, you can use any of the following below:

Beverly Hills, CA, 90210 (Beverly Hills phone numbers start with 310-xxx-xxxx)
Detroit, MI, 48226 (Detroit phone numbers start with 313-xxx-xxxx)
Omaha, NE, 68102 (Omaha phone numbers start with 402-xxx-xxxx)
Pensacola, FL, 32501 (Pensacola phone numbers start with 850-xxx-xxxx

The phone number format in the U.S. is 10 digits, expressed as 111-111-1111. You’ll need to use the area code of the city you’re using in your address. See the list above for the phone number area code. The last seven digits can be any combination of numbers.

Once you have entered all your information, Click Continue.

After your iTunes Gift Card has been redeemed, click Done.

You’ve successfully created a U.S. iTunes Store account, and you can see your balance in the top-right corner

Now you can begin making purchases with this account on any of your iOS or Apple devices!
