Motorola has officially launched its refreshed Moto G series for 2025, introducing the Moto G 2025 and Moto G Power 2025 in North America. These smartphones are designed to deliver premium features at an affordable price point, making them highly competitive in the budget segment.

Motorola Moto G 2025

The Moto G 2025 boasts a 6.7-inch LCD screen that offers a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, perfect for fluid scrolling and gaming. With a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, the display ensures clear visibility even in bright conditions. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3, adding an extra layer of durability.

Under the hood, the Moto G 2025 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, coupled with 4GB of RAM. For storage, it offers 64GB or 128GB of internal memory, ensuring sufficient space for your apps and files. It also supports 5G connectivity, enabling faster data speeds where available.

The Moto G 2025 features a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP macro camera, perfect for high-quality photography and close-up shots. The 16MP selfie camera ensures excellent selfies and video calls. The phone’s 5,000mAh battery supports 30W wired charging, providing all-day use on a single charge.

This model also stands out with its water-repellent design and vegan leather finish, making it not only functional but also eco-friendly. Running on Android 15, the Moto G 2025 offers a smooth and user-friendly experience.

The Moto G 2025 will be available for $199.99 starting January 30 in the U.S. through retailers such as Motorola, Amazon, Best Buy, and most carriers.

Moto G Power 2025: A Larger Display and Enhanced Durability

The Moto G Power 2025 takes everything up a notch with a larger 6.8-inch LCD display, also featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000-nit peak brightness, protected by Gorilla Glass 5 for extra durability. This phone is designed for those who want a larger screen for entertainment or productivity, while still retaining smooth performance.

Performance-wise, the Moto G Power 2025 also runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, but with an upgraded 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, making it ideal for users who demand more power and storage. Additionally, it supports 5G connectivity for faster network speeds.

The camera system includes a 50MP main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for sharper photos, especially in low light, an 8MP ultra-wide lens for wide-angle shots, and a macro camera for detailed close-ups. The 16MP front-facing camera ensures high-quality selfies.

What truly sets the Moto G Power 2025 apart is its rugged design. The phone has an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, meaning it can withstand immersion in water and exposure to dust. Additionally, it is MIL-STD-810H certified, meaning it can endure falls from nearly four feet, extreme temperatures ranging from -4°F to 140°F, and high humidity levels up to 95%. These durability features make it an excellent choice for outdoor enthusiasts or those who need a tough, reliable phone.

The Moto G Power 2025 also packs a 5,000mAh battery with 30W wired charging and 15W wireless charging support, ensuring long-lasting battery life and versatile charging options.

This phone will be available for $299.99 starting February 6 in the U.S., through retailers including Motorola, Amazon, Best Buy, and most carriers. It will also be available at select carriers and national retailers in Canada on May 2, though the price is yet to be disclosed.
