itel is gearing up to launch a new flagship smartphone, the itel Color Pro 5G, which promises an eye-catching design. A teaser image has revealed a unique color-changing rear panel that shifts its hue when exposed to sunlight, utilizing what itel calls IVCO technology. Here’s a detailed look at everything we know about this upcoming device.

Design and Features

The teaser showcases the itel Color Pro 5G’s striking design, highlighting the innovative color-changing technology. The promotional poster features a dual-camera setup with an LED flash on the rear. When exposed to natural light, the device’s back panel transforms into a blue hue. Additionally, the right side of the phone houses the volume rockers and power buttons.

Market Positioning

Typically, itel has focused on providing budget-friendly phones in India, usually within the sub-10,000 INR price range. However, the itel Color Pro 5G aims to enter the mid-range segment, potentially priced under 15,000 INR. This move comes at a time of increasing demand for budget 4G and 5G smartphones in India, as noted by a recent CMR report.

Specifications and Hardware

Recent leaks have shed light on some key hardware aspects of the itel Color Pro 5G. The smartphone will feature a 6.6-inch LCD panel with an HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. Under the hood, it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC, a 5G-enabled chipset. This octa-core processor includes two Cortex-A76 cores, six Cortex-A55 cores, and a Mali-G67 GPU, offering robust performance. Notably, this chipset is also used in the Redmi Note 13 5G.

Connectivity and Performance

The itel Color Pro 5G will debut with NRCA (5G+++) technology for enhanced connectivity and speeds. This indicates a strong focus on providing a seamless 5G experience to users. Despite these promising details, other specifications, such as battery capacity and storage configurations, remain undisclosed.
