According To Reports, Apple Vision Pro Will Be Available Next Year
Apple revealed the Vision Pro mixed reality headset earlier this year, after years of expectation and persistent rumors, to wild reactions from fans and the media alike. It was always supposed to be released next year, but a fresh source indicates that it could be available in February 2024.According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple’s first AR/VR product has been manufactured “at full speed at facilities in China” for the past few weeks. According to him, retail Vision Pro devices will be ready by the end of January and will hit shop shelves the following month. Gurman noted that the company informed App Store developers this week to “get ready” to use the soon-to-be-released smartphone “by testing their apps with the latest tools and sending their software to Apple for feedback.”
Gurman previously revealed that Apple was educating Apple Store employees on how to demo the Vision Pro’s features to potential consumers as part of its preparations for the Vision Pro launch event at its Cupertino headquarters. The seminars are scheduled for January, a month before the device is set to hit the market. According to the article, only a few staff members from each store will be taught in Cupertino before returning to their local stores and sharing their knowledge with their colleagues.
Despite its exorbitant price, the Vision Pro is expected to be at the heart of Apple’s product plan next year. Gurman noted in his most recent email that, despite the fact that Apple will produce multiple new iPads, MacBooks, and iPhones in 2024, the headset will be the company’s primary priority for the next 12 months. Apple will also reportedly emphasize upcoming wearables, such as the fourth-generation AirPods and next-generation Apple Watch models, which could include blood pressure monitoring and sleep apnea diagnosis.
The Vision Pro debuted at Apple’s final WWDC event in June 2023.
