Windows on Arm Set to Welcome Google Chrome Natively

Google Chrome, the world’s leading browser, is introducing native support for Arm-based Windows devices. The Canary build release indicates a forthcoming official launch, providing optimal performance on devices like Surface Pro 9 with 5G and Lenovo ThinkPad X13s. This development aligns with the expected growth of Arm-based Windows PCs in 2024, coinciding with significant improvements and ecosystem support. The move to native Arm support is crucial, particularly for browsers, as it minimizes performance impacts associated with emulation. Other applications, including DaVinci Resolve, are also committing to native Arm versions, making 2024 an exciting year for Windows Arm PCs.
