Asus Unveils World’s First Dual-Screen OLED Laptop with Zenbook Duo

Asus takes a leap forward at CES 2024, introducing the Zenbook Duo 2024, proudly touted as the “world’s first 14-inch dual-screen OLED laptop.” While previous models like the Zenbook Pro 14 Duo featured a secondary OLED display, this innovation boasts two equally sized Asus Lumina OLED displays.

Each 14-inch half showcases 3K resolution (2,880 x 1,800 pixels) touchscreens with a remarkable 120Hz refresh rate. Supporting Dolby Vision and DisplayHDR True Black 500, these displays promise vibrant imagery and deep blacks. The laptop flaunts a full-size Asus ErgoSense keyboard, detachable and usable wirelessly via Bluetooth. Connected by a 180-degree hinge, the dual screens allow a flat orientation, transforming the laptop into a tablet.

Notable viewing modes enrich the user experience, from the expansive Dual Screen mode to the productivity-focused Desktop mode. The Zenbook Duo 2024 is powered by an Intel Core Ultra processor, complemented by a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for AI acceleration, enhancing overall performance. Weighing a mere 1.35kg and measuring 14.6mm when closed, this lightweight marvel packs ScreenXpert for multi-touch gestures, Harman Kardon-certified speakers for immersive audio, and storage options up to 2TB.

The launch date and pricing details for the Zenbook Duo 2024 are yet to be revealed. Stay tuned for updates on this groundbreaking dual-screen masterpiece.
