OnePlus 13T officially unveiled in China!!

OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus 13T, presenting it as a rare blend of compact form and flagship-grade internals. Targeting users who want a smaller phone without compromising on performance, the 13T introduces several notable upgrades in design, hardware, and software.

At just over 150mm tall and under 72mm wide, the 13T is tailored for one-handed use—a rarity in today’s market. The phone weighs just 185g and maintains a flat metal frame with a symmetrical 50:50 weight distribution. It boasts a 6.32-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 2400 nits peak brightness, and FHD+ resolution (2640×1216). This panel also supports Bright Eye Protection 2.0 for a more comfortable viewing experience and is safeguarded by Oppo’s Crystal Shield Glass.

Hardware Upgrades and Performance

The OnePlus 13T is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, capable of breaking the 3 million mark on AnTuTu—an industry first for small-screen phones. The chipset is paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage. To manage thermals, the device features a Glacier Cooling System with a 4,400mm² vapor chamber and a total of 37,000mm² in heat dissipation materials, ensuring consistent performance during high-load tasks like gaming.

Custom Features and Battery

Replacing the classic Alert Slider is the new customizable Shortcut Key, which not only toggles sound profiles but also lets users assign apps or actions—adding both personalization and utility.

Battery life is another highlight. The 13T includes a 6,260mAh silicon-carbon battery—reportedly the largest in a compact flagship. Coupled with 80W fast charging, it promises both longevity and convenience. Despite the larger battery, the phone remains sleek and easy to handle.

Camera Capabilities

In the camera department, the OnePlus 13T shares similarities with the OnePlus 13. It includes a 50MP Sony LYT700 main sensor and a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and support for up to 4x lossless zoom. There’s also a 32MP selfie shooter housed within a punch-hole cutout. OnePlus has integrated AI-based imaging features and advanced noise reduction for more natural-looking shots.

Software and Connectivity

Running ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, the 13T includes enhancements like AI flash memory management and a dual performance engine. OnePlus promises five years of updates, suggesting a long-term software commitment. Connectivity is enhanced through a dedicated G1 Wi-Fi chip, a 360° antenna system, and improved signal strength for both Wi-Fi and mobile data. The phone also carries an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance.

Availability and Pricing

The OnePlus 13T was officially announced in China on April 24, 2025. It starts at CNY 2,899 (approx. $400) with subsidies, and goes up to CNY 4,499 (around $617) for the maxed-out 16GB RAM + 1TB storage model. The phone is available in three color options: Morning Mist Gray, Heartbeat Pink (coral fleece glass), and Cloud Ink Black (silk glass). Global availability hasn’t been confirmed, but a broader release is expected soon.
