OnePlus 13s Teased in Official Video: Full Design, Colors, and Unique Features Revealed

OnePlus has intensified the buzz surrounding its upcoming compact flagship, the OnePlus 13s, by unveiling its full design in a brand-new teaser video. This follows weeks of speculation and leaks surrounding the device’s India-exclusive launch strategy. Until now, we had only seen glimpses of the rear design through microsites on Amazon India and the OnePlus India website. But with a fresh teaser posted on X (formerly Twitter) by OnePlus India, fans have finally gotten their first official look at both the front and back of the OnePlus 13s.
Front and Back Design Officially Unveiled
The teaser video provides a complete view of the OnePlus 13s’ refined aesthetics, including a flat display with slim bezels and a centrally-aligned punch-hole camera. With its compact 6.32-inch screen, the device blends flagship elegance with a more manageable size — a design direction that sets it apart from most oversized flagships in today’s market.
On the right frame of the phone, you’ll find the familiar volume rocker and power button, while the left side features a brand-new hardware key, replacing the traditional Alert Slider seen in most OnePlus phones. This marks a significant design shift, especially as the OnePlus 13s becomes the first OnePlus device launching outside of China to swap out the Alert Slider in favor of a customizable button — potentially giving users more control over quick functions or app shortcuts.
Rear Design and Camera Layout
The rear design of the OnePlus 13s has already been previewed on the company’s Indian microsite, but the teaser video gives us a closer look at its premium finish. The dual-camera module is slightly raised and paired with an LED flash, placed within a smooth rectangular cutout that blends well with the device’s color-matched back.
The back panel bears a close resemblance to the OnePlus 13T sold in China, hinting that the 13s might be a regional adaptation or a globally repositioned version of the 13T. The video confirms two color variants:
• Pink Satin: A soft, pastel pink shade with a smooth satin texture.
• Black Velvet: A deep, matte black finish with a classy, understated aesthetic.
Both finishes reflect OnePlus’ focus on combining bold style with minimalist charm.
India-Only Launch Strategy?
While the company has officially confirmed that the OnePlus 13s is headed to the Indian market, reports suggest it won’t be making its way to North America or Europe. This implies that the 13s could be a market-specific release, tailored exclusively for Indian users. Considering the absence of microsites or announcements on global OnePlus platforms, it’s increasingly likely that India will be the sole launch region.
Performance and Hardware Expectations
OnePlus has confirmed that the 13s will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, aligning it with the brand’s flagship performance tier. However, other technical details such as battery capacity, camera specs, charging speed, and software features remain undisclosed.
Despite the lack of full hardware details, the inclusion of Qualcomm’s latest chip places the OnePlus 13s in direct competition with compact premium flagships from other manufacturers.
In addition to the OnePlus 13s, the company is reportedly gearing up to release several other smartphones for both India and China. Among them:
• The OnePlus Nord CE 5, expected to launch in India soon, will reportedly feature the Dimensity 8350 chipset.
• A more advanced OnePlus Nord 5 is also rumored to be in the pipeline.
• In China, OnePlus is preparing for the launch of two new devices: the Ace 5 Racing Edition and the Ace 5 Supreme Edition, which may be equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400e and Dimensity 9400 Plus chipsets, respectively.
These upcoming devices indicate that OnePlus is continuing its multi-tiered strategy — offering premium, mid-range, and budget options tailored for different regional markets.
