Infinix Note 40X Set for Launch in India on August 5

The Chinese smartphone brand Infinix, a subsidiary of Transsion Holdings, announced on Wednesday through a press release that the Infinix Note 40X will launch in India on August 5. The company has shared official images and key specifications of the new Note series smartphone, revealing significant upgrades and design features.

Design and Color Options

The Infinix Note 40X will be available in three color options: Lime Green, Palm Blue, and Starlit Black. The smartphone features a flat frame and a squarish camera module on the back panel, reminiscent of modern iPhone designs. One of the color options will also offer a gradient finish. The device will include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button for added security and convenience.

Display and Camera Specifications

On the front, the Infinix Note 40X boasts a 6.78-inch display with a punch-hole cutout and a Dynamic Port feature, similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island, which will display notification alerts, charging status, and more. The phone’s triple rear camera setup is headlined by a 108-megapixel primary sensor, referred to as the “Ultra Cam.” For selfies, the device features an 8-megapixel front camera, equipped with AI features to enhance photo quality.

Performance and Connectivity

The Infinix Note 40X will come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It is also confirmed to include a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port, ensuring broad compatibility with various accessories and fast charging capabilities. The smartphone will be equipped with dual stereo speakers with DTS Audio, promising an immersive audio experience.
