Huawei Mate X5 has been officially launched in China today
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei has recently launched two flagship devices- Huawei Mate 60 and Huawei Mate 60 Pro in China. Both smartphones have stunning features and a beautiful design. The company is currently launching its foldable smartphone in China, just a few days before the formal release of the Mate 60 and Mate 60 Pro
Huawei Mate X5 has been officially launched in China today, This smartphone is the successor to the Mate X3 foldable device.
Huawei Mate X5: Specifications
The smartphone features a 7.85-inch OLED main display with 2496×2224 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate,1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and P3 wide colour gamut. It sports a 6.4-inch LTPO OLED cover display with 2504×1080 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The device comes with Kunlun Glass protection.
The Mate X5 will come in three different memory configurations: 12GB RAM/512GB storage, 16GB RAM/512GB storage, and 16GB RAM/1TB storage. It runs on HarmonyOS 4.0. It is backed by a 5060mAh battery that supports 66W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
When it comes to the Huawei Mate X5’s camera specifications, it has a triple back camera configuration with a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra wide-angle camera, and a 12MP periscope telephoto camera. It has an 8MP selfie camera on the front.
The five colours available for this just-launched smartphone are Feather White, Feather Black, Feather Gold, Phantom Purple, and Green Mountain Dai. The processor and pricing details of Huawei Mate X5 have not been disclosed yet by the company but we might know the details soon.
The United States government claims that it is curious to learn how Huawei got through the export restriction that forbids foundries that use American technology to make chips from exporting any chips to the producer. Other U.S. restrictions compelled Huawei to create its own HarmonyOS operating system in place of the Android version offered by Google Mobile Services. The most recent version of the operating system, HarmonyOS 4, is already pre-installed on the Mate 60 Pro, Mate 60 Pro+, and Mate X5
