The smartphone is scheduled to debut on April 10, 2025, at 12 PM IST. While the full specifications haven’t been disclosed, key details have already surfaced through official teasers from Vivo and Amazon India. The device is expected to offer a sleek design, AI-powered camera features, and a robust display, catering to users who prioritize photography and performance.

Vivo V50e Design & Display

The Vivo V50e will be available in Sapphire Blue and Pearl White color options. It is designed with a quad-curved OLED display, featuring a centered punch-hole cutout for the 50MP front camera. The display is also expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring a smooth and responsive experience. Additionally, the smartphone is built to withstand tough conditions with IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it resistant to dust, water, and extreme environments.

Camera Capabilities

The Vivo V50e is set to deliver a powerful imaging experience. On the rear, it will house a dual-camera system, consisting of a primary sensor using the Sony IMX882 and an ultrawide lens with a 116° field of view. Both the 50MP front and rear cameras will support 4K video recording, allowing users to capture high-resolution content with enhanced clarity. Vivo is also including its Aura Light technology, a feature seen in the standard V50 model, which is expected to improve low-light photography.

Performance & Hardware

Under the hood, the Vivo V50e is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, which will provide a balance of power efficiency and seamless performance. The phone will likely come in multiple storage configurations, including 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage. Users may also benefit from virtual RAM expansion, which can enhance multitasking capabilities and overall system performance.

Software & Battery

The Vivo V50e will operate on Funtouch OS 14, based on Android 14, delivering an optimized user experience with new customization options and improved security. Keeping the device powered will be a 5,000mAh battery, supported by 80W fast charging. This ensures minimal downtime, allowing users to quickly recharge their phone and stay connected for longer periods.

Expected Price & Availability

Although Vivo has not yet confirmed the official pricing, industry estimates suggest that the Vivo V50e will be priced between ₹25,000 and ₹30,000 in India. It will be available for purchase through Vivo’s official website, Amazon.in, Flipkart, and offline retail stores. Pre-orders are expected to go live shortly after the launch event.
