Samsung Galaxy S24+ Likely to Feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chipset

Samsung employed just Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips in all markets for the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra in 2023, which was an unexpected break from its typical approach of splitting the world between its own Exynos chip and Qualcomm’s latest and best.

Exynos naysayers (of which there are many) rejoiced, but the victory appeared to be fleeting. The S24 Ultra is still slated to use exclusively Snapdragon, although the S24 and S24+ were to be separated once more, with the Exynos 2400 in the mix in many areas. That may not be the case, according to a recent rumor.

According to X, the Galaxy S24+ will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC in the majority of nations around the world. Only the ‘vanilla’ S24 will reportedly use the Exynos 2400.

There are certain rumors to be wary about, and we recommend taking them with a grain of salt. That is one of them. There have previously been numerous stories claiming that both the S24 and S24+ would receive the Exynos 2400 in various areas, and this contradicts that nearly at the last minute (the actual reveal is in 12 days).
