Honor Magic 7 Pro & Magic 7 Lite are officially here in Europe!

Honor has officially launched the Magic 7 Pro and Magic 7 Lite in Europe. This marks the global debut of the Magic 7 series, which was initially unveiled in China in late October. The series is set to rival other major players in the market, such as Samsung, by offering cutting-edge features at a more accessible price.

Honor Magic 7 Pro

The Honor Magic 7 Pro, originally released in China, makes its way to international markets with notable enhancements. It boasts a large 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a stunning resolution of 1280x2800px. The display supports a 1-120Hz refresh rate, allowing for smooth scrolling and media playback. For users concerned about brightness, the Magic 7 Pro shines with 1,600 nits under normal use and up to an extraordinary 5,000 nits in HDR mode. In addition, it comes with high-frequency PWM dimming at 4,320MHz to reduce eye strain, making it a more comfortable device for extended usage.

Under the hood, the Magic 7 Pro is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is coupled with 12GB of RAM to handle multitasking and demanding applications with ease. The device is equipped with a 5,270mAh battery, which supports both 100W wired and wireless charging. Although slightly smaller than the 5,850mAh battery found in the Chinese variant, it still ensures impressive battery life for heavy users.

On the camera front, the Magic 7 Pro doesn’t disappoint. It includes a powerful 50MP primary camera with a 1/1.3-inch sensor and a two-step variable aperture (f/1.4-f/2.0), allowing for great detail in various lighting conditions. The rear camera setup also includes a remarkable 200MP 3x periscope zoom camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor, ideal for capturing distant subjects with incredible clarity. Additionally, there is a 50MP ultrawide camera with macro support to round out the versatile camera array. For selfies, the phone features a 50MP front-facing camera, accompanied by a 3D camera for face scanning.

The Honor Magic 7 Pro runs MagicOS 9.0, based on Android 15, bringing with it several smart features, including the Magic Portal, AI-powered Honor Notes, real-time AI translation, and Gemini AI for seamless multitasking. For those concerned about durability, the device is IP68 and IP69 rated, offering resistance to dust, water, and even hot water jets.

The Magic 7 Pro is priced at €1,300/£1,100 (around ₹115,390) and is available in Lunar Shadow Grey and Black. Additionally, early buyers can receive a MagicPad 2, valued at €600/£500, as a free gift. It will be available for pre-order starting in February in select European markets.

Honor Magic 7 Lite

For those looking for a more budget-friendly option without compromising on key features, the Honor Magic 7 Lite is an appealing choice. This model comes with a slightly smaller 6.78-inch AMOLED display, offering a resolution of 1224x2700px and a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM, which is more than sufficient for everyday tasks and light gaming.

The Magic 7 Lite packs an impressive 6,600mAh battery, offering long-lasting performance. With 66W fast charging support, it can be charged in no time, keeping users on the go. The camera setup includes a 108MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 16MP front-facing camera for high-quality selfies.

Priced at €370 (₹32,800) for the 8GB/256GB variant and €400/£400 (₹35,500) for the 8GB/512GB model, the Magic 7 Lite offers exceptional value. It is available in two attractive colors: Titanium Purple and Titanium Black. Early buyers can also receive Honor’s Earbuds Open, valued at £150, as a free gift.

Key Differences Between Magic 7 Pro and Magic 7 Lite

On the other hand, the Magic 7 Lite offers solid performance with its 108MP camera, Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, and larger battery, all at a more affordable price point.
